Dallas CLTR Fest!
Hey Dallas its ya boy Mickey Neutronic and today I would like to share with you guys an event that I enjoyed very much! Dallas is a unique city with tons of culture, a lot of which was concentrated in and around the urban entertainment scene, a good portion which could have been found at culture Fest this past Saturday. Brought to you by the creative minds at 'Modern Day' a retro hip-hop duo know for their crazy parties and festivals! This passed CLTR fest was a fantastic art, music and vendor festival that drew together some of the region's most talented entertainment professionals and urban artist. The party began with a very Dallas DJ set and mingling tastemakers to bring in the vibes. During the first couple of hours as vendors set up their tables as fans of the culture began to pour into the venue until the event was eventually near capacity! This being the second installment of this recurring Festival, led to a variety of familiar faces and the reinforcement of the nostalgic vibe of the first. Personally I always enjoy myself and have a good time at events but the chemistry of an event definitely improves my ability to do so and the chemistry was definitely there. Unlike many artist showcases, culture Fest seemed to create a vortex of mutual respect and support which was refreshing as it led to enjoy amateur sets with considerable crowd participation. Although not explicitly 420 friendly the eventual smell of marijuana became apparent and began to further enchant the vibes crowd. As the event neared its completion the remaining party-goers seemed to click even further and even more networking and socializing took place as the crowds dispersed. In conclusion CLTR Fest part 2 was a complete success and I can't wait until the next one!
